Frequently Asked Questions 

Q. Did you go to school for music?

A. No, I've been recording and playing music for the past 15 years and I am currently a member of Produce Like a Pro Academy.

Q. What gear do you use?

A. I use a Mac computer with a Focusrite interface.  I work on Pro Tools and Logic Pro as my DAW with plugins from Waves, Fab Filter, Plugin Alliance, Izotope as well as SSL and KIT.

Q. Do you mix hybrid on a computer and a mixing console?

A. I work entirely in the box with limited outboard gear.

Q. How do you describe your style of mixing?

A. I like to think of my style as organic.  I do use samples (such as drum samples) but I try to blend them in with the live instruments.

Q. What do you bring to a song?

A. My goal is to serve the artist and their needs/wants. I want them to be able to listen to their song and say to me "Yes that is exactly how I pictured this song would sound in my head while being recorded".
